If your Black Berry for any reason is frozen and does not cooperate with you, probably you will want to reset the device. There are 2 different ways how to soft reset the device if you are having trouble with the phone:
Soft Reset
Press ALT + RIGHT SHIFT(CAP) + DELETE
Double-Soft Reset
Press ALT + RIGHT SHIFT(CAP) + DELETE . The screen will go blank for a few seconds. When the screen comes back on, immediately press ALT + RIGHT SHIFT(CAP) + DELETE again.
This should help to get the device work again. So far my experience is that the Black Berry 9000 Bold has many issues related to the OS and often crashes or applications get corrupted and you have to reload the OS.
