Great Plains – transaction error – edit required – error

Another fun day with the Microsoft Great Plains 10 Sp5. User is trying to process batches and suddenly got this error message:

“Transaction error – edit required”

Here are the steps to fix it:

1. Go to Tools > Routines > Batch recovery
2. Recover the batch to its original module
3. print batch audit by clicking on Print button top right the batch from which will show the errors in the batches on the top of the report
4. fix the batches and repost
