In Excel 2007 my ribbon keeps disappearing. How do I make it stay in view?

First I was not sure what I did but I have noticed that suddenly the ribbon in Microsoft Excel 2007 is minimizing and does not stay in view. L If I need to edit something or use one of the features I have to touch the minimized ribbon in order to get access to the feature.

  1. What caused this?

    I had to double click while touching the ribbon … this is functionality in MS Office and this was the reason why the ribbon is minimized

     

     

    How do I fix it?

  2. Easy, simple go and hover over HOMEtab and double click … the ribbon will be restored and will stay in view 😉
