Windows Master Control shortcut in Windows 10 (GodMode)

Windows Master Control or also so called ” God Access” – is it a special short-cut to various control settings under one location. It was implemented in Windows in Windows Vista by Microsoft and it helps quickly to access any Windows settings very quickly from one location. The hack was published outside of Microsoft documentation in 2007[1] and gained popularity when the name God Mode was used by bloggers.

How do you set this up ? Very simple:

  • Click anywhere on your Desktop
  • Select New – Create a shortcut
  • Enter Name explorer.exe shell:::{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
  • Hit Next
  • Enter Name – GodMode or MasterControl
  • Hit Finish
  • New Shortcut is created and available with all those settings
