Google Chromebook – connecting to Ethernet

I am sure some of  you wondering what you are gonna do if you go to hotel that has no wireless connection but offers only wired. Yes, your  [easyazon-link asin=”B0067U9W7Y” locale=”us”]  Chromebook [/easyazon-link] does not have any ethernet port available. Well, the good news is that there are few solutions. You still can use your SIM card from your phone if you have data plan but you risk high roaming charges in case you are out of town. Another  solution is to buy [easyazon-link asin=”B003VSTDFG” locale=”us”] USB 2.0 to 10/100/1000  Ethernet LAN Network Adapter[/easyazon-link] and to my surprise no drivers needed, just plug in into one of yours USB available ports on [easyazon-link asin=”B0067U9W7Y” locale=”us”]  Chromebook [/easyazon-link]  and all is set. The USB 2.0 fast Ethernet  was immediately recognized and become available under connections.

Now you can take advantage of any network connection same way as you would have with your regular netbook or notebook.
